Play video games for a living
I game across someone who should inspire those who don’t want a maintstream ‘rat hole’ job.
His name is Ian Girdword, also known as the great online poker player Tillerman
I understand he played WOW for money and did videos initally, before moving into online poker.
The proof is in the pudding and Tillerman has secured himself a 6-figure bankroll, a very expensive paid for house and is the living proof that you can do your own thing and become successful in your own right.
Respect Tillerman….
10 things I’d prefer to do than work
1.sleep
2.poo
3.pee
4.watch tv
5.eat
6.go on holiday
7.go shopping
8.surf the net
9.play poker
10.do nothing
Brainwave : play poker and quit your job
I just thought of it the other day, play poker as a job – plenty of people on the 2+2 forums are making good money and don’t work full time.
It does worry me though that online player SBRUGBY / Townsend lost $4M in one month playing online….and Mike Matusow won $750K online but then lost $500K later.
Maybe I could just play low stakes and farm fish?
I still need to win my first tournament……these freerolls are hard to crack!
Sick of work…
I’m just soooooo unmotivated to work these days it’s sickening.
The enthusiasm of earning money is drained by the depression of never ending bills….pure running costs and little in the way of treats…is this Tony’s (Thatcher’s) Britain?
Working for mugs…

We work so much in capitalistic world…it’s just insane.
I mean, you get up at 7AM, get ready then leave at 7.45AM.
You reach work between 8.30 – 9.00 AM. You work till 5.00 or 6.00 PM.
That means you get home at 7PM at the latest.
12 hours of your day….gone.
If you’re lucky, you’ll stay away for another 4 hours, tired, exhausted and just recharging for the next 12 hour shift.
Jobs are for mugs…..
